KidsUp (1st-4th grades)

Our Sunday morning ministry is based on three basic truths every child should embrace:  I need to make the WISE choice, I can TRUST God no matter what,  I should treat OTHERS the way I want to be treated.

These truths were also embraced by Jesus himself according to Luke 2:52 "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men."  Each basic truth is amplified by a weekly bottom line and systematically taught over a three-year track. This includes weekly Bible stories based on the monthly core value and memory verses.

A typical Sunday morning in KidsUp...

Welcome: Each child is greeted by their small group leader. Kids participate with their small group in an activity meant to introduce the one TRUTH, or bottom line, we want kids to walk away with and remember that morning.

Large Group Environment (Storytime): Shortly after arriving, kids move to their large group setting where they experience live worship and hear the Bible story.  We use costumes, props, and characters from the story - anything that makes the Bible come to life.

Small Group Environment:  After Storytime kids move to grade-level table groups where their leaders help them understand how the day's bottom line can fit into their everyday life. Small group leaders in KidsUp are serious about having fun with kids and passionate about teaching the TRUTH.  We want kids to see how God's Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last.

Staying Connected

We give out a 'take-home' paper each week, with a letter to the parents, four GodTime devotions, and memory verses.  GodTime Cards (for Kids)
focus their attention as they spend time reading the Bible and talking to God at home and are a tool to help them establish a lifelong habit of spending regular time with God.  Children earn Bible Bucks for memorization, bringing a Bible, or bringing a friend.  Bible Bucks can be redeemed for prizes.  These tools will help you stay connected and provide opportunities to be part of your child’s spiritual development.  If you are interested in finding out more about our Children's Ministry, or would like to join our team, please feel free to .
