Purpose

There is certainly tension between a need for a church to grow followers of Christ into a loving relationship with God (LOVING GOD) and reaching out to those who have not yet experienced the life Christ offers (LOVING OTHERS). Some would say that it's foolish to try to do both. We are choosing to be foolish because if we get this right. we will rock the world!

Jesus makes it very clear that LOVING GOD means surrendering our heart, soul and mind to him.

HEART

This means worship. It means connecting intimately and genuinely with the God who is alive and involved in your life. Mountain Park is here to create opportunities for your heart to encounter with God's.

SOUL

This means prayer. It means allowing the unexplainable thing inside you (your soul) to communicate back and forth with the living God.

MIND

This means scripture. It means filling your brain with his thoughts and his words that have been provided for us. Many are intimidated by the Bible but our community needs to push through that. The Bible is not a test to be failed - it is a gift to be enjoyed.

Through our LOVING GOD ministries we hope that you will engage with others and discover healing and wholeness in your own life as you draw closer to your Creator.
