Men's H.O.P.E.

H.O.P.E. stands for “Helping overcome Painful Experiences.” We use a book called “The 12 Steps, A Spiritual Journey” as a guide. Working along in the book is encouraged but not required to attend. The purpose of the group is for Men to come together in community for support and encouragement in developing a healthy way of working through many of life’s difficulties. Many of the Men are dealing with an addictive lifestyle from drugs, alcohol and sexual issues. Others come for support in abusive pasts that have culminated into anger, co-dependent and relational issues.
We are unique in that we are open to any man who wants to come for support and encouragement in ‘ANY’ area of life, and we believe that our program can bring help and healing to just about any situation in life. Unlike other 12 step programs we claim “Jesus Christ” as our higher power and use the Bible as our ultimate guide in life. However, we do not require you to be a “Christian” to attend. We welcome all who need support and are looking for encouragement through community.
We encourage newcomers to come to 3 meetings and see if HOPE is a place where they can find support and encouragement towards a healthy sustainable life.
