Can I Really Trust God?

There are two central stories that shape the Old Testament: Exodus and Exile. Here, we look at the Exodus story. God established the Jewish nation through which he would reveal himself. Now, he is going to take that entire nation from slavery in Egypt to victory in the Promised Land. What God wants to convey through the Exodus story is that we can trust him. We can be a trusting people – to trust God and trust others.
