Jim Cooper
Jim began attending Mountain Park in January of 2010 and is joined by his wife, Donna, and his two daughers Dylan and Raynee. His passion is Men's Ministry because of the bonding opportunities it provides and the community with other men. Sharing life experiences and becoming part of the greater story is the fire igniting his passion to serve at Mountain Park.
Unlimited Budget: What would be in your man cave?
With an unlimited budget, my man cave would have to be in my private island beach house in Bora Bora. It would be filled with the lastest gadgets that would certainly envoke a primitive grunt of approval by any man.
What was the most exhilarating hour of your life?
Stepping out of an airplane at 400ft. into the dark early morning hours, with all the sights and sounds of a raging battle around me. I was part of a parachute invasion of Panama in 1989. I hate to admit it, but it was quite a rush!
Jim, a fist is coming at your face... how do you transition from that to "the guy is now on the ground"?
Does this have something to do with hockey? I have learned in my first year at Mountain Park that I need to better aquaint myself with the finer aspects of hockey. Oh!, and deep sea fishing as well.
If the whole world was listening and you could say one thing about Jesus, what would it be?
I have only recently gotten to truly know Jesus and it has been both a revealing and restoring experience. It has been a time of reflection, healing and appreciation. He has allowed life's trials to shape my character. He is a God of restoration and I am amazed at how personal he is with each of us.
