Sandy is from a little teeny tiny town in upstate New York called Unadilla. Yes, you heard us right: Unadilla. It means the village beautiful and was the home of the first boy scout troop, (for those of you into math that would be troop number 1). She has been attending Mountain Park for over two decades with her husband Bob. Together they have two daughters, Casey and Delaney.

Just a sidenote... she grew up on Hopkins Street :) How crazy is that?

How did you meet your husband?
Bob and I were way ahead of our time, I believe we paved the way for internet dating!

Bob and I actually met over the telephone while doing business with each other, living 1800 miles apart. Both of us were dating others when we started talking and over a two year period of time, we became true friends. We actually tried to meet several times at various locations in the country but something always seemed to get the way; a snow storm, an unplanned business meeting, something always got in the way. When we finally met it was truly like love at first sight. We met, Bob moved to AZ, we dated, married and have been married for 28 amazing years. I am truly blessed to be married to my best friend.

Favorite vacation spot with your family?
We are totally beach folks but with no big fish story :)

Describe your relationship with frogs?
Frogs are yucky, yucky, yucky!!!! Did I tell you how yucky they are!!

Share how your faith in Jesus has led you to this place at this time in your life?
I have been a member of MPCC for 20 years. I have served in children's ministry for 15 years of that as a teacher, or a choir leader. I have had the pleasure of watching many children grow in faith here at MPCC. I'm very blessed to be serving the Lord, serving our children at a church I love with a staff I know and respect. Thanking the Lord for the opportunity to do exactly what he has gifted me to do. I'm confident that God has drawn me to exactly this place at this time.
