When Jesus taught about the kingdom of God, he upset power-hungry religious scholars by turning their value system upside down. He described the poor, the marginalized, the mourning and the persecuted as “blessed,” he taught his followers to love and serve the down and out. Mountain Park seeks to live out these kingdom values by sharing the Gospel as well as serving the poor and underprivileged in Phoenix and in the most God-starved parts of the world. PURPOSE
Empower homeless individuals and families to become self-sufficient and effectively
end their homelessness.
PROJECT
On the third weekend of every month we gather together to prepare and deliver a meal
for the homeless. We will prep the meal on Saturday morning and put together supply
bags on Sunday afternoon.
