Our Pastors, Staff, and Board of Servant Leaders are a diverse group of individuals who love God, pray together, laugh together, and strive to be in tune with the vision God has for the church. We value each other and those we serve, seeking to make Mountain Park Church a safe place for the people in our community to discover their role in God’s story.

Hey there! I’m so glad you are checking out Mountain Park. In the interest of full disclosure, I
must admit that I’m not a huge fan of writing these bios. I mean, I wonder if you really want
to…know what school I went to (Anderson School of Theology) or what my favorite movie is (A Few Good
Men) or how many kids I have (three)? Do you want to know my wife’s name, (Tami) when we got married
(1997) or how beautiful she is (very)?
Instead of all that stuff, let me get right to it… yes, I really do love Jesus. My priority is not buildings or attendance numbers, but people finding the love and grace of Jesus.
He really is the best part of our church - and the best thing about me. Join us and you’ll find a safe place to figure out how a relationship with Him can change everything. Welcome!
INTERIM SENIOR PASTOR
Originally an atheist, I was baptized as a follower of Jesus in 1998. Everything after that has been an adventure of love, faith, perseverance, and lots of grace! I am privileged to be married to an amazing and Godly woman, Lindsay, and benefit immensely from her maturity, creativity and wisdom. Together, we are doing our best to raise six unique and precious kids to be fully devoted followers of Jesus who courageously choose the Kingdom of God over the American dream. One of my biggest passions is helping families become everything God designed them to be. There is also a special place in my heart for Shakespeare, Greek tragedies, C.S. Lewis, intellectual debate, Arthur Miller, and the beautiful game of soccer.
WORSHIP ARTS PASTOR
As the Worship Arts Pastor here at Mountain Park Church, I provide strategic leadership and guidance to the entire Worship Arts Ministry. I creatively lead my teams through my musical background and production knowledge with a passion for serving and discipleship. My passion is creating worship environments where the people of God and those far from Him can connect with the truth of Christ through the arts being redeemed and reclaimed in the church through music, media, art, & technology. With undergraduate training and studies in music, communication, and counseling from Mississippi State University in addition to a diverse depth and breadth of music ministry experience my passion pushes me in my creativity, communication, and leadership. Following in the footsteps of our creative God, I use the arts to be "salt" to preserve the gospel for today’s culture reflecting "light."
ADULT MINISTRIES ASSOCIATE PASTOR
My family and I have been a part of the Mountain Park Church family since the Pueblo Middle School days, (1987) back when the church first opened. I consider my days as a Christ-follower a prolonged honeymoon where God has inspired and revealed amazing revelations, relationships and realizations of His promises. I have been blessed by my beautiful and dynamic wife, Anna, for 30+ years, and together we have raised our four amazing boys. As long-time residents of the Ahwatukee community, we are committed to the welfare of our neighbors. I have a passion for outreach and partnering with other countries in spreading God’s word. Also, a fierce competitor, I love sports (especially football) and have a unique collection of crosses made from all the places in the world I have visited.
ADULT MINISTRIES PASTOR
My wife Sheri and I joined the Mountain Park family in 2019. We have three children and four amazing grandsons who have stolen our hearts. We both love serving the body of Christ and love seeing the church function as a place where anyone can come and not only begin their journey with Jesus but also engage in serving Him. We enjoy spending time on the beautiful Arizona lakes and are always looking for fun TV shows to binge-watch together. My Favorite “Star Trek”, Sheri’s favorite “Downton Abbey”.
My husband David and I, along with our three kids, began attending Mountain Park in early 2010. I grew up in a Christian home and believe that church is not just the building or the staff but people of all ages and backgrounds connecting, serving and growing together in Christ. Most of my free time is spent chauffeuring kids to their activities and cheering them on at football and basketball games. We love to travel together and I feel closest to God in nature, either at the beach or in the mountains, surrounded by His incredible artistry.
